Hi everyone! I happened to be running errands around King Phet today, so I took the chance to look for somewhere new and interesting to eat. When I asked people in the area, they all gave the same answer: come and try "Pad Thai Ar-Simp", an old pad thai shop in the King Phet area that has been open for more than 38 years. Let's go and see how it tastes!

Having tasted it, I personally really love the noodles they use for the pad thai: nicely chewy and soft. The flavor is light, not too strong, just right. But the real winner is how generously loaded it is, and it even comes sprinkled with crispy fried pork fat! The crispy pork is sooo crispy it goes CRUNCH! when you bite into it. On top of tasting great, the prices are good too.
There are also loads of other interesting dishes to choose from.

They also have herbal drinks, snacks like jo pu (crab rolls), and best of all… mango sticky rice! See, this is exactly why I'm still fat!

If any of you would like to come and try it, the shop is open every day from 10:30 to 22:00.
Location: 138/12 Soi Phetchaburi 10, Phetchaburi Road, Bangkok 10400, Thailand (Phetchaburi Market, next to Thong An pharmacy)
Getting there: It's really easy! You can take the BTS Skytrain to Ratchathewi station and come down on the Krungthai Bank side (the Asia Hotel side), where you'll find motorbike taxis waiting right away. Or if you'd like to walk for some exercise, face the Ratchathewi intersection and keep walking to the left. The shop is on Soi Phetchaburi 10!
