River City Bangkok, Asia's premier centre for fine art and antiques on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, is treating art lovers of every gender and age to a world-class multimedia exhibition. It has already been warmly received in Berlin and Moscow, and now it's coming to Asia for the first time, here in Bangkok, under the name FROM MONET TO KANDINSKY.

FROM MONET TO KANDINSKY brings together no fewer than 16 famous names from the history of Western art, the great masters of Modern Art, on show across more than 1,200 square metres at RCB Galleria on the 2nd floor, River City Bangkok's Contemporary Art Space. It also offers visitors a whole new kind of experience through HD projections, with animated graphics and music that take you on a journey unlike any other.

The artists whose works feature in multimedia form in FROM MONET TO KANDINSKY are Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Paul Gauguin, Henri Rousseau, Henri Toulouse-Lautrec, Gustav Klimt, Paul Signac, Piet Mondrian, Amedeo Modigliani, Vincent van Gogh, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Juan Gris, Paul Klee, Edvard Munch, Kazimir Malevich and Wassily Kandinsky. What all of these artists have in common is that they rejected the styles of the past and set out towards the new, experimenting with forms, materials and techniques no one had used before in their search for new visual forms, which brought about a great change in their era.

The exhibition is projected onto 3-metre-high walls across a thousand-plus square metres of RCB Galleria on the 2nd floor, River City Bangkok's Contemporary Art Space. FROM MONET TO KANDINSKY is open to the public from 26 April to 31 July 2019, every day from 10:00 to 22:00. You can buy tickets at the door, or if that's not convenient for you, you can buy them online through ZipEvent. Just click: https://bit.ly/2UfjVze (school and university students: 250 baht)

I'd really love for you all to go. I think it's a great show: it's so easy to sit there and lose yourself in it, and there's music playing softly in the background that really sets the mood. If you're thinking of going, getting there is super easy. I recommend taking the BTS to Saphan Taksin station, then hopping on the Chao Phraya Express Boat to Si Phraya Pier. Walk out to the end of the lane, turn left and go a little further, and you're there! Let's go!
