Ladies, do you want slim, pretty thighs, legs that are firm and toned and look good in any kind of pants, but you hardly ever have time to work out? And going to the gym or a fitness centre is out of the question, because work keeps you so busy you can barely move. So when are you ever going to find time to exercise and slim down your thighs? If this sounds like you, don't worry! Today I'm sharing thigh-slimming exercises for those of you who don't have much time or feel too tired to work out. Just set aside a little time in the morning or before bed and give my 7 thigh-slimming moves a try. You can do all 7, or just pick a few each day. For each move, aim for 1–3 sets of 15–20 reps. You can do them every day or every other day, but if you want slimmer thighs and to say goodbye to thigh rub, you should do them regularly. All 7 of these moves are easy and not very tiring, but they work so well I just had to pass them on!
Plie Squat
If you want a figure as seriously sexy as anyone's, squats are the move that works best, hands down. But if you want firmer inner thighs, try Plie Squats. They're guaranteed to be amazing, because they really target the inner thighs. And they're super easy to do. Start by standing with your feet apart, about as far apart as your two arms stretched out, with your toes pointing out to the sides. Then stretch both arms out straight, parallel to your spread legs. Lower yourself down with your knees pointing outwards until your legs are bent at 90 degrees, like sitting on an invisible chair, then slowly straighten back up. Do 3 sets of 20 reps.
Leg Swings
This next move is great for firming the muscles of the outer thighs. Start by standing up straight with your hands on your hips. Shift your weight onto one leg, then lift the other leg off the floor and cross it in front of you. Next, kick that leg out to the side as high as you can, keeping it straight and holding your balance. Swing it back down and cross it in front again, just like the starting position.
Side Lunges
This move helps slim and firm the muscles of the hips and inner thighs. Start in the ready position: stand up straight with your feet shoulder-width apart and your hands clasped in front of your chest. Then step out with one leg, bending that knee and lowering your body while keeping the other leg straight. Come back to the ready position, then step out with the other leg, bending the knee and lowering down just like on the first side.
Side Lying Leg Lifts
The next exercise helps slim the outer thigh muscles. Get ready by lying on your side with your body straight, propping your head up on one arm with your elbow in line with your shoulder. Then raise your top leg up and down, keeping the leg tensed and your toes pointed so it stays straight the whole time.
Inner Thigh Pulses
This one is super easy. You can do it even while you're lying in bed playing on your phone! It helps slim the inner thighs, and it's easy to follow. Start by lying on your side, propping your head up on one hand, with your body straight and your elbow in line with your shoulder. Cross your top leg over so its foot touches the floor in front of you. Then lift your bottom leg up and down off the floor, keeping your ankle pushed forward the whole time so that the tip of your foot is the part that touches the floor.
Jumping Jacks
This is a simple, basic move for people who are just starting to exercise. In Thai it's known as “kradot top”, and you all know it well already. It's super easy: start by standing up straight with your feet a little apart, then jump so your feet spread out to the sides while you stretch your arms above your head, jumping as you spread your feet. Keep alternating like this.
Wall Sit Squat
We've reached the last move, ladies! For this one you'll need a piece of equipment to help you, and that is… a wall! It may not look like much, but this little guy is actually useful. OK, let's get started. It's really easy. Start by standing with your back to the wall, then slowly lower yourself into a sitting position in mid-air, with your back leaning against the wall. Most importantly, your thighs and lower legs must be at a right angle. Hold it for about 5 minutes each time, then slowly stand back up as normal. That's all it takes, and it's amazing!
So, what do you think of these 7 moves for slimming and toning your thighs? Not hard to follow at all, right? And you don't need much equipment either. Now that you've read them, don't forget to give them a try, for good health and a super-firm body to welcome the new year. Keep at it, everyone~
